Another year of ePoster Management in the books
2023 is coming to a close and this year we got to see thousands of scientific posters from dozens of conferences. To everyone who submitted a poster or organized an event using our software, thank you! Our goal in transforming the future of scientific communication is to make the process of organizing a scientific conference and submitting a poster efficient and enjoyable.
ePostersLive’s software suite includes a content management system that hosts all of a conference’s posters on the web before, during, and after the meeting. In the past, attendees in the poster area would often take photos of the printed posters, a desperate attempt at preserving access to the findings presented. With ePostersOnline, all submitted posters from an event are preserved and made available via the internet.
This year we noticed old habits, new trends, and exciting advancements in how scientists are designing and presenting their posters. Let’s take a closer look at what went well by featuring some of our favorite posters. You can see all of these posters and thousands more by visiting ePostersOnline.
Our Top Scientific Posters of 2023
In no particular order:

QR code linking to the abstract in full, many relevant and interesting images, decorative tentacles–this poster has it all. Great work!
Scoliosis Screenings in Athens, GA Schools: Rates of Follow-Up and Barriers to Care
The main takeaway of the study is easy to find and understand on the right, the details of the paper are organized neatly on the left, and a thematically-relevant picture of a spine separates the two halves of this poster. Well done!
Complexity of Goals of Care Discussions involving Patients with Limited English Proficiency
This poster seems to be inspired by the #BetterPoster format created by Mike Morrison, with the study’s main takeaway being featured prominently in the middle of the poster. This is a great tool to make sure that even passersby can hear about and understand the general message of your research. Looking good!
A Benchmarking Study on the Patient Safety Culture of Hospitals in India
This poster has an uncommon portrait-style format and a contemporary graphic design approach that makes it stand out. Will be sure to give ideas to future poster designers!
Though it has a lot of text, this poster is easy to move through and offers thoughtful graphics that give the reader a break. The complementary colors and clever title are a plus too!
Dosing Dilemmas in CTLA4 haploinsufficiency
Here we see another poster à la Mike Morrison: in #BetterPoster format, with a handy QR code and all the case details on the right side for readers who want to take a deeper look at the research. Great poster!
Our warmest congratulations to all of the poster authors and contributors! Do you have any favorite posters that we missed? To look at all the posters we manage, feel free to browse ePostersOnline and peruse thousands of posters from hundreds of scientific events worldwide.
